Computer Science and Information Technology is a dynamic career field, and BCC is the place to go for the training you need to get started — or to advance yourself in the workforce.

BCC offers three Associate in Science Degrees in Computer Technologies: Computer Information Technology, Computer Programming and Analysis and Networking Services Technology. Courses in College Credit Certificate options map to one or more of the Associate in Science degree programs of study, providing multiple completion points. Computer IT Industry Certification Tests that BCC students take each year also bolster their resumes and give them the edge they need to compete for jobs.

My Networking Services Technology degree will pave the way to my Applied Science A.S.- to-  B.S. Track in Information Technology. It can open the door to positions like Network Administrator, Database Administrator or Information Technologies Specialist. I have taken classes on two of our campuses and had a really positive experience here at BCC. It's great!

BCC’s Computer Information Technology program prepares students for careers in the business application of computers. Students choose one of the three options: Help Desk, Management Information Systems (MIS), or Database Administrator. The core courses provide training in the basic concepts that underlie computing technology, computer programming, database techniques, analysis and design and common user applications. Read more.

The Computer Programming and Analysis program prepares students for entry-level program development and analysis positions in the software development environment. Students choose one of two options, Desktop Applications Programming or Web Applications Programming. Read more.

Our Networking Services Technology program provides students with the training necessary to install, maintain and troubleshoot computer networks. The curriculum includes both hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge. The student will gain general, as well as specific network knowledge as it
pertains to the "industry standard" network software. Both LAN and WAN technologies are addressed in the program. Read more.
