If all goes as planned, it won't be long until you're ready to graduate. Each term students who meet all graduation requirements for any degree or certificate program must apply to graduate to receive their BCC degree, whether or not they plan to attend the commencement exercises. BCC holds two ceremonies each year, at the end of the fall and spring terms. Summer graduates are invited to walk in the fall ceremony.

Degrees are not conferred until the end of the term and upon verification that all requirements have been met. Students are responsible for determining that they've met all graduation requirements and have no outstanding financial obligations to the College. Check out the "Am I Ready to Graduate?" link in the left column to perform a self-audit.

Spring 2013 Graduation Notice

Brevard Community College celebrates your achievement and wants to help make your special day as easy and trouble-free as possible. Graduation times are set based on home addresses or major and are as follows on Thursday, May 16:

  • Melbourne & Palm Bay – Noon
  • Cocoa & Titusville and Health Sciences – 4 PM

If you need to alter your scheduled commencement time, please send a time change request to graduation@brevardcc.edu  and you will receive a confirmation response.

Priority will be given to graduate seating, because we are expecting a large graduating class as we celebrate our last commencement as BCC before our name changes to Eastern Florida State College this summer.

Please let family and friends attending with you know that should the King Center reach maximum capacity, two overflow areas will be available to them for commencement viewing. They are both located in the King Center Rotunda – the Black Box Theater and Rehearsal Room 168. Also, the Commencement ceremonies will be webcast live at www.brevardcc.edu

(Note earlier time for first ceremony. Melbourne/Palm Bay students are at noon; Cocoa/Titusville are at 4 PM)

 

Summer 2013 Intent to Graduate Application Deadline: Thur., July 11, 2013 

*Note: students who complete all coursework in the first six-week term may apply to have their degree posted early. The deadline to submit the "Intent to Graduate" application for early posting is Thursday, June 20. All diplomas will be mailed at the end of the full summer term.

Make sure your current address is on file! The post office will not forward BCC mail, including diplomas & transcripts.
