Scholarship Funding

Scholarship dollars are needed now.

Among the top five reasons students cite for dropping out of college, four are financial. Even though most students work while attending college, many have family and personal responsibilities which are also funding priorities. Without scholarship support, many hard-working young people would not be able to further their educations.

The BCC Foundation provides scholarship support to incoming and current BCC students in a wide variety of areas. Explore this Scholarship section of our site for ways that you can help through scholarship support.

New Scholarships: For an annual minimum of $500, a scholarship can be "customized" to match your area of interest. Memorial scholarships are a wonderful way to honor loved ones while helping students to achieve their dreams. Endowed scholarships are created to last forever, providing assistance to students through the income produced by the invested funds. To endow a scholarship permanently, a minimum of $10,000 is needed. For more on establishing a scholarship, please visit our Establish a Scholarship page.

Giving to Existing Scholarships: If you want to help students through scholarship funding, but do not wish to establish a new scholarship, consider contributing to an existing scholarship. If you don't have one in mind, but would like to contribute in memory of a loved one or if you wish to support a particular program, our Foundation staff can help find an established scholarship to consider.

To contribute to a currently established scholarship, you can donate now online and designate the gift to "support scholarships." You also may send a check or money order made payable to the "Brevard Community College Foundation". Please include the name of the scholarship in the memo line on the check and/or in a supplemental letter stating how you want the gift to be used.
