BCC is offering an exciting study abroad opportunity to Belize during the 2013 Summer Term. The trip requires that students register for a specific BCC course, "Tropical Ecology" (BSCC 1362), so visit the Belize link in the left column for trip-specific details.

Check back for information about a possible 2013 trip to Spain, which is connected to "Special Topics in Conversational Spanish" (SPN 2932).

The Study Abroad in Humanities course for 2013 has been postponed while we work to restructure the program. We are very excited about returning to Europe in 2014 with a robust academic program that provides a stronger learning experience for our students. Please keep in touch with us by adding your name to the mailing list for Europe 2014. We will begin recruitment efforts in December of 2013, and students can register for the travel component of this course at that time.

Requirements for Every Trip

All Study Abroad trips have these general requirements:

  • Participants must be 18 years or older on the departure date or travel with a parent or guardian.
  • The student must be academically eligible to take the designated course connected with each trip.
  • Register for the class by seeing an advisor on any of our campuses. Students who do not wish to earn college credit may register with audit status. You must be a BCC student or become one in order to register for this class. Information on applying to BCC can be found on our Enrollment Steps pages.
  • Trips require a passport. If you don't have a current passport, it's important to apply as early as possible as the process can take up to several weeks. If you do have a passport, make sure it does not need to be renewed. Non-US citizens must obtain their own travel visas. Passport applications can be ontained at deveral sites throughout Brevard County.
